Lamisil Cream is used to treat fungal infections of the skin including the following:
Allergen products containing tinea pedis (a type of fungal skin infection) can be used with Lamisil Cream.
Lamisil Cream is also used to treat itching caused by the following fungal infections:
Allergen packs containing allergen-free rice flour products can be used with Lamisil Cream.
Lamisil Cream is also available as a cream to apply to the skin.
Lamisil Cream is usually applied to the skin twice a day for seven days.
If you are taking Lamisil Cream, the recommended dose is one tube of cream.
Your doctor or pharmacist will tell you exactly what you need to know when you start taking Lamisil Cream.
You may need to read this information again.
Your doctor and pharmacist will tell you what other medicines you are taking and which medicines are not recommended for you.
They will not give you the complete list of medicines you are taking.
Do not take Lamisil Cream if you have an allergy to:
any medicines containing tinea pedis, including allergen-free rice flour products
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
If you are breast-feeding, you may take Lamisil Cream if you are breast-feeding or using breast-feed.
If you are taking other medicines, they will not affect your medicine use. Your doctor and pharmacist have more information on medicines you are taking before you start taking Lamisil Cream.
Do not take Lamisil Cream if you are taking other medicines, unless your doctor tells you to.

Lamisil (terbinafine) is an antifungal medication that fights fungus-caused infection. It treats infections caused by fungus affecting fingernails, toenails and even scalp hair of children ages 4 and above.
Lamisil is an effective treatment for athlete’s foot. It provides healthy foot care with its fungus-fighting properties. Terbinafine hydrochloride treats fungal or yeast infections causing athlete’s foot. It kills the fungus, liketinea cruris(jock itch), ringwormandcandida albicans(athlete’s foot) to prevent it from reproducing and ultimately, stop infection. Terbinafine is available in cream, powder or tablet forms. If used as a cream, it may be applied topically to treat infections located on the superficial skin. The best part about Terbinafine cream is it takes effect in just half the time needed by other antifungal creams.
Like all medicines, LAMISIL may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

For pediatric jock itch, ringworm and athlete’s foot, the 1% cream twice a day for 3 days. For 4 years, Lamisil was the treatment of choice for treating pediatric athlete’s foot with no alternative.
